On someone's birthday

Her ex-coursemate's birthday. Steamboat again. I swear this will be the last steamboat meal we gonna have for this year.

Back to service

Got back my toy and been using it for a month. Quite like it as you can download some cool software. I think other phones do not allow you to install so much software in it. Got my KJV bible and dictionary in too. It's all on the go whenever you need it. The new generation has been launched. Possibly it's selling more expensive here.

The Assault on Reason - the channel for politic of fear (1)

Since the invention of TV, it has changed everyone’s life. Most of the people are able to get access to information and entertainment easily and readily. Then TV has slowly replaced newspaper and printed media. An average person spends around 4 hours a day watching TV. (He was not. Not until they got the new TV. But still selectively watching TV program). What is lacking from TV is the ability to be interactive with the recipients (or viewers). We should know that government utilizes TV media to disseminate its propaganda and campaign. That’s why there’s government controlled channel. One of the disadvantages of TV is that it does not take into the account of public opinion. It is always one-to-everyone communication. Lately, some programs have included SMS polling. Well, at least there’s minimal feed back communication from the viewer side. From the scientific research point of view, the brain activity of a person who watches 4 hours TV program a day is somehow quite different compare

Our country has added another world heritage site. It's ONE not two although it is in two separate locations. Can't believe how Penang got into the list ya? Anyway, it's a good news for tourism. http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1223/ We were there at this place (City Hall) last month. Better believe it. This building is gleamingly astonishing at night time. It's happening!

The movie was like a metaphor of climate change. In the movie, plants were believed to release toxin (or neurotoxin) which could alter human brain activity and ultimately cause suicide. It seems like the act of nature could not be fully comprehended. The beauty of the story was that nobody knew the early symptom. Some even denied it. When the nature is out of balance, it will find a way to balance it – by eliminating the trouble maker (?)

A Night and a Day in Penang

Before the Penang Hill's train shut down for maintenance, we got it there. Good view. And delicious Laksa down the hill. That was in early June 2008.

Dine before go to Doha

Dined with Ah Hoe before he flew to Doha. Watch out he said. He'll be back.
