Frigid weather

Walked around the Olympic complex, though cold, the people were warm, especially the lover.

Tiger year started with a bang

Like every year, most residents in Sarawak will launch the fireworks at midnight, the first night, second night and continue on with decreasing frequency. The fireworks are launched right in front of everyone house. More up close and personal I guess.

Tiger Year

This year we had our Chinese New Year in Sibu. Being a member of " the club aka married couple", we had to prepared the ang pow beforehand. There were different categories for the ang pow. Of course kids from close kin and friends would get more moolah . Not easy to practice impartiality here. Not to mention the need to give back the equivalent value which your kid(s) had received from them too.

Dong Zen Temple

More photos from Dong Zen Temple... a place where it turns up to be a family-get-together event.

New year's eve in Dong Zen Temple

Some families would come here after their reunion dinner. This year the temple has Ferris wheel. And live broadcast by Astro and My FM too. Catch your luck if you would be picked for interview. We didn't. Happy Chinese New Year!

Water Cube

Thought would not have the chance to go to the same place again. In December, I've missed out the Water Cube. Who knew in January I came back for more. This time with snow and more fog.

Around Sibu Central Market

Wrapped live chicken, olives and sago worms are sold here. Fresh from the farms.
