13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. It was said that in order to share the Good News, one must experience the transformation himself first. He/she should experience what is like in trusting God. And of course, to confirm if that person really lives in God, one can ask the people around him. The closest people to testify will be immediate family members and friends. Thus, the sharing of Good News starts within the family or close friends circle. No need to go to further places for evangelism. It can be done within your circle of life.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.Matt 5:13-16
And so to say, God is so great that He can hold the world by his hand. And yet He lives in us. Since God is great, He will certainly explode out from us should He lives in us, literally speaking. That's the whole idea of sharing the Good News - to live a life that can radiate the love of God.
