Cultural learnings of Thailand for make benefit glorious nation of Malaysia Boleh

OK, they have come back from Thailand. They have visited Bangkok and Chiang Mai. She likes the Chatuchak weekend market while he likes the Loft in Siam Center. As Thailand has different culture and environment, perhaps it will be good to know if the Malaysia Bolehland can adopt some of the things. There are... (1) Long live the King No doubt the Thais like their King. You can see the King poster in every corner. There was one time the King wore a pink jacket (as contrast with the royal yellow color), pink has become a hot color. There was one time also when the King wore a wrist band. And it become a hit for the Thais. Everyone has the orange wrist band and pink shirt. Well, we don't even bother what our Sultans wear. (2) New airport The new Survanabhumi airport is so big and crowded. I think I'm a bit ashamed of our KLIA. Though the interior design might not be as extravaganza as KLIA, there are some parts which are bold and creative. Check out the male toilet. (3) Fruit jui

Thai odyssey

Life, Travel, GRACE will go travelling next week, after absence from any trip for the past ten months. It's been a long draught for him. The idea came very last minute after he could get a week off before starting a new job. Initially planned to go north by bus (Hat Yai, Krabi, Phuket). Comparing the cost, it would be wise to fly directly to Bangkok and then slowly explore the surrounding. They may stop in Chiang Mai. As he has been to the land of elephant numerous times, he will take up the role as a tourist guide. Hope everything is smooth.

Dong Zen Temple

Just in the month of Chinese New Year, Dong Zen temple in Jenjarom was opened for visitors. The temple is famous for its light and flowers decoration. So we planned for a short trip there. Prior to that, we paid a visit to WP (HJ's gf) and Bell in Klang. Think the kidults enjoyed most with the Wii Nitendo game console in Bell 's home. Thought of buying one, but quickly scrapped the idea. Better buy PS3 or SLR camera instead. Just a thought. At WP's house The Wii effect Posing in front of the temple Generally, Dong Zen temple is very clean and nice looking. Well decorated and maintained. Just that it was so crowded on that day. According to TL, many visitors go there during CNY. True enough , the crowd swelled to uncountable number. So we left the place early with some disappointment on the dinner across the road .

The tribe has spoken

Like the Survivor series, the tribe members will cast their vote to eliminate any of their member (so called the weakest link or the strongest player). Though the couple did not cast their vote in the general election, they volunteered to be a polling agent (and counting agent too). The pro government party offered some incentive for the helpers. But this is not about money. Charity is priceless. So they became the opposition's helper. Lesson learned during the polling day: 1) As it is the final battle, make sure you choose a strategic location. The booth is set up outside the polling station to provide service for the voters. Good location will ensure easy access for the voters. Indirectly, you can channel your influence to the big crowd. 2) At the booth, they were given a copy of electoral roll. It's a manual job to check each name page by page. Speed is essential. Luckily, laptops were provided with wireless broadband. So the voters' info can be retrieved in a second. Th

The brothers had to endure harsh punishment before the sisters let us in - bananas!
