 In our previous trip to South Korea, we flew to Jeju Island for a few days. We engaged with a local taxi driver as tour guide for day trip. Surprisingly, the driver followed the itinerary as prescribed in a travel book. And the book was authored by a Taiwanese. The first stop was at Trick Eye Museum. Thumbs down. The place was totally built for group tourists, in my opinion. Subsequently, I had to make sure the driver did not bring us to other man made museum, except Teddy Bear Museum. The latter is worth a visit.

Yup, another post on lion dance performance. But this time the performance was in Sandakan, Sabah. We went back there for a few days, last week. Over there, there were more lion dance performance as it's part of the local Chinese community culture. In total, no. 2 son had viewed 3 lion dance performances there. A very good experience for him. Have not been to any lion dance performance in Klang Valley since a decade. I used to enjoy it when I was a kid. As I grew older, I didn't bother on the performance. Probably I was bored with it. Anyway, now my no. 2 son has developed an interest in the lion dance performance. So I brought him to the lion dance performance in a nearby mall, twice. He really enjoyed the performance. p/s: All photos were taken with iPhone 4S.

CNY eve's dinner....these were the dishes we had. Not luxurious, but simple and nice. Missing the vege dish. :)

Who would have thought there would be Star Wars Episode VII after the conclusion of two trilogies? Well, anything can happen. And yes episode VII has been released last December. Went to watch it with the kids last month. Not sure if they really understood the story. But I guessed they should have enjoyed the flight scene. Anyway, I have not been writing about movie since end 2014. That's because I haven't been watching any movies. As far as I remember, I had Hotel Transylvania 2 , A Good Dinosaur and Star Wars: The Force Awakens . There are some good movies which I've missed out, like The Martian (anyway, I've just watched it online last night). So three movies for last year and all watched with the kids. Now, is Star Wars: The Force Awakens worth a watch? I would say yes. It's fresh and nostalgic. Unfortunately, the characters' development does not meet my expectation. I was expecting more. But maybe because it's a trilogy, so characters' developm...

Have not been sharing my trip to Taiwan in 2013. My bad. Here's a place worth to consider. A chapel in Tunghai University, Taichung. If you are a fan of design and architecture, this could be a place for you to appreciate the design and its functions. I like the green and lush grass field surrounding it.
